Client Information

We are partnered with a global engineering group with their headquarters based in the UK and over 50 locations around the world. The group comprises of market leading businesses across products such as steam systems, flow control, filtration, compressed air, pumping systems and fluid transfer applications. They are specialists in providing turnkey solutions and can be found within a range of process industries such as food & beverage, water, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and industrial markets. Training and development are second to none within this leading organisation. An outstanding opportunity has become available to join the energy audit team developing customer operations across the globe.


Energy Audit Engineer Responsibilities

As an energy audit engineer you will be a consultant to strategic accounts across the world on energy optimisation, de-carbonisation and sustainability. This is a pivotal role for the business and as a leader of thermal energy assessments for large multinational cusomers you will drive profitable growth and offer excellent value to customers.


  • Consulting with key global clients on services such as energy audits, net zero de-carbonisation roadmaps, sustainability programmes and energy optimisation
  • Developing and expanding customer thermal energy programmes and advising on new technology best suited to customer needs
  • Lead sustainable partnerships with key customers across the world allowing excellent personal development opportunity
  • Converting energy concepts to engineering solutions
  • Supporting strategic accounts and offering value-added service


The training in this role will be extensive and you will spend a large amount of time with the energy audit team, strategic account leadership and on the job training to learn how to consult with key customers and drive the business.


Experience

We would like to speak to candidates who have/are:


  • Experience of offering thermal energy audits or related services such as sustainability, energy optimisation or cost of ownership solutions
  • Be able to travel internationally 50% of time with a positive work life balance being highly encouraged
  • Engineering experience from any of the following areas: automation, steam, process, water treatment, HVAC or electrical engineering
  • Be competent in dealing with customers both technically and consultatively


Ideally you will be currently working in a similar role such as energy audit engineer, optimisation engineer, project engineer, process engineer, asset management or commercial engineer but relevant experience in other areas will be strongly considered


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or junior engineer to join a world leading manufacturing business who are headquartered in the UK and seriously invest in their employees.


The role can be based anywhere across the UK & Ireland or Western Europe and will be based from home with travel to customers and company offices required 50% of the time.
