Electrical Project Engineer - Milan

Most Electrical Project Engineers never get the chance to take full ownership of a major package.

This role in Milan is your opportunity to do exactly that - on a hyperscale data centre project for one of Europe's top contractors.

The Opportunity
You'll lead the electrical delivery from design coordination through to client handover.
Managing BIM outputs, QA, procurement, subcontractor activities, and snagging closeouts - you'll be at the heart of the build.
You'll also work directly with the client and mentor junior engineers, backed by a strong management structure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full delivery of the electrical package onsite.
Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, BIM teams, and suppliers.
Control QA, health and safety compliance, and technical standards.
Oversee procurement schedules, material tracking, and resource planning.
Produce weekly progress reports (internal and external).
Drive BIM and modularisation initiatives.
Manage site documentation and assist with final project handover.

What You'll Need

5+ years' experience with a recognised mechanical or electrical contractor.
Proven track record delivering large-scale electrical packages.
Strong technical skills in BIM, QA, site operations, and safety.
Familiar with project scheduling tools like Primavera.
Confident leading subcontractor teams and resolving onsite issues.

Desirable

Data centre, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical project experience.
Knowledge of modular build techniques.
