We have been assigned by one of the UK's prestigious NHS Trusts to help recruit aConsultant in Neurologyon aSubstantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 monthsto join their Neurology department.

Our client, one of the largest health providers in the UK, is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and clinical research. The Health Board serves over 500,000 people, with a budget exceeding £1 billion and employing 16,000 staff. As a provider in Wales, they offer integrated care, including tertiary, acute, intermediate, mental health, community, and primary care services.

The successful candidate will join a department of 12 consultants responsible for Neurology services. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical services, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses
  • Collaborating with colleagues and multi-professional teams
  • Ensuring the well-being of patients under care
  • Delegating and training staff appropriately
  • Adhering to IRMER regulations regarding radiation exposure
  • Conducting outpatient clinics both face-to-face and virtually
  • Participating in weekly MDT meetings for patient care

Location: Based in the UK's second-largest city, offering diverse lifestyles, vibrant culture, and ongoing regeneration projects.
