The Bid Manager will streamline and optimize the sales process by managing RFP/RFI submissions, coordinating POCs, and resolving technical issues to support sales teams in closing deals.

This role will act as the key liaison between sales, technical, and product teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of sales projects.

By improving processes and providing project management support, the Bid Manager will drive efficiency and help the sales team achieve revenue targets.

A Little About You...

Manage end-to-end RFP/RFI submissions, including gathering input from stakeholders and submitting high-quality responses.
Coordinate Proof of Concept (POC) activities with internal teams and clients, ensuring timely execution and alignment on deliverables.
Handle and prioritize technical support tickets from sales teams, liaising with engineering and product teams for timely resolution.
Serve as a primary liaison between Account Executives (AEs), sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure sales success.
Attend sales pitches and meetings to gather client requirements and support sales presentations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate and manage sales projects, tracking progress, and reporting updates to sales leadership.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate and compliant responses in proposals and technical submissions.
Maintain and update a centralized repository of RFP/RFI content and sales collateral.
Support cross-functional communication between sales, marketing, product, and technical teams for alignment on sales initiatives.

About the role...

3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, proposal management, sales operations, or a related role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Proven experience managing RFP/RFI submissions and POC coordination with a track record of timely and high-quality deliverables.
Experience with technical ticket management and coordinating between sales and technical teams.
Strong background in working with Account Executives and cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, marketing).
Familiarity with sales tools like CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Strong understanding of sales processes and project management principles.
Knowledge of RFP/RFI best practices and compliance.
Familiarity with technical sales environments, preferably in industries like software, SaaS, or IT services.
Experience with CRM systems, content management systems, and proposal software.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Problem-solver with a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and improving processes.
Detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality submissions and accurate project tracking.
Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with diverse teams, including sales, marketing, technical, and product groups.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
