Job Description:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Enago Life Sciences and customer stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including sales lead generation, business negotiations, agreements, and delivery of key accounts across Europe.
  • Collaborate with the Agency Head and Function Head to define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and RFP/RFI processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Serve as the ‘Single Point of Contact’ for stakeholders, managing all client-related interactions and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Build and maintain a proven and vast professional network of clients, leveraging existing relationships to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal project management teams to ensure smooth task transitions and delivery.
  • Prepare business cases and forecast capability needs for future growth.
  • Regularly report on client follow-ups, SLA progress, demand sheets, and other business development activities to senior management.
  • Does direct and indirect outreach regularly and build new contact lists.


Role Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Medical Communications industry, ideally with a background in agency settings or the Medical Affairs division at a pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships by combining scientific expertise with commercial acumen to deliver strategic communication solutions.
  • Strong understanding of publications plans and the ability to execute key publication tactics aligned with client strategies and timelines.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully managing high-value accounts and a strong, established professional network within the industry.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe, UK, and internationally, if required.
  • Attend industry events such as conferences and association meetings to build relationships and represent the organization.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to organizational and team goals.
  • Proficient in project management, with a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in international teams and managing multicultural client engagements.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Science, or Medical domains. An MBA is highly desirable. Fluent in English.
  • Experience:8–12 years overall, with at least 3–5 years of account management experience in the Medical Communications domain. Experience in a medical communications agency and connections in the pharmaceutical industry are preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage senior leadership stakeholders effectively.
