About the role

AsTechnical Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of technical development projects. Acting as the bridge between Sales and R&D, you will coordinate new product developments and custom solution efforts, ensuring smooth information flow, clear priorities, and steady project progress.

This is a hands-on role that combines project tracking, requirement definition, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with engineers, salespeople, and product managers to ensure technical feasibility, timely delivery, and high-quality execution.


Key Responsibilities:


·      Project Management: Plan, schedule, and monitor technical development projects from scoping to implementation.

·      Custom Product Management: Collaborate with Development to deliver tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations.

·      Product Specification: Define and refine product specs, ensuring alignment with market demands.

·      Market Introduction: Drive successful product launches by understanding customer needs and competitive landscapes.

·      Market Trends: Stay updated on industry shifts to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.

·      Sales-Development Liaison: Act as the link between Sales and Development, ensuring alignment and effective communication.



Essential skills & experience:

·      BSc/BEng or higher degree in Mechanics, Electronic, Photonics, Physics, or similar

·      Good communication and presentation skills

·      Excellent written and spoken English


Desired (but not essential) skills:

•     Written or spoken French or German

•     Experience designing LED illumination

•     Experience in machine vision

•     Experience working in tangent with Mechanical and Electronic Designers

The role offers a competitive salary, flexible full-time working hours with defined core hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 03:00 pm), onsite parking, and a conveniently located office in Perth. For the right candidate, hybrid working (home and office) is possible after the completion of the probation period.
