Sourcing Specialist - Derby

We are currently seeking an organized individual to join us as a Sourcing Specialist (known in house asStrategic Bid Sourcing Lead)(Spondon/Hybrid). 

 

As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, our suppliers are at the heart of our business. 

AsStrategic Bid Sourcing Leadyou will be the voice of Incora, regularly communicating with our suppliers, issuing and following up on RFQs, building up a portfolio to enable you to develop effective sourcing strategies; targeting certain vendors and leading effective negotiation to maximise pricing and align to our commodity sourcing strategy. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings is beneficial in this position. This role involves complex data and therefore requires intermediate to expert excel skills.  This position plays a critical role in helping Incora grow by establishing optimized sourcing and cost strategies to enable Incora to successfully retain existing, and win new, sustainably great business. 

About You 

You will be naturally curious; and an exceptional communicator, with a talent for understanding customer requirements and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for suppliers. A self-starter who values collaboration, you’ll be highly organised and skilled at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.  Due to the complex data intermediate to expert excel skills are a must for this role.  

We are looking for individuals with an understanding of costing principles and the concept of total acquisition cost. Procurement experience is a must; this role would suit someone currently in a Senior Buyer position. We are especially interested in hearing from those candidates with a part or full CIPS qualification. A background in the aerospace, manufacturing or automotive industries or experience working in hardware or with electrical products would be an advantage.

  • Starting salary between £34,000 to £44,000 dependent on experience
