We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join a renowned pharmaceutical organisation in Watford on a permanent basis, offering a salary of up to £45,000.

This role supports the company's ambitious growth strategy and commitment to supply chain excellence. As a key member of the procurement team, you will have access to excellent development opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in international sourcing and procurement within the pharmaceutical sector and demonstrate a strong desire to advance their career.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include:

Support internal stakeholders by sourcing products from UK and overseas markets in line with client specifications and tenders
Creating purchase orders and expediting shipments to adhere to lead times and maintain a steady supply chain.
Manage product costs and inventory levels to meet customer demands
Identifying and proposing new product opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
Participation in the qualification and onboarding of new vendors into the supply chain
Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPsPerson Specification of the Procurement Specialist:

Experience with international procurement experience, within a pharmaceutical environment is essential
Strong negotiation skills and a commercially driven mindset
Excellent organisational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Effective communicator, both written and verbal

Salary

Up to £45,000

x2 days pw WFH

This role is ideal for someone with procurement or purchasing experience as a purchasing specialist, sourcing specialist, procurement specialist, buyer, senior buyer, category buyer, category purchaser, commodity buyer or commodity specialist
