Sourcing Lead – Growing Pharmaceutical Firm – central London (good flexible working options) - £80,000 + Excellent Benefits Package


Due to a major transformation, a globally esteemed Fortune 500 firm is now seeking a talented individual with outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation and strategic sourcing skills and experience. The successful applicant will enjoy a meritocratic and collaborative work environment, a Global spend of circa £100M+ per annum and tailored personal development towards Procurement Directorship / VP.


In this role you will manage supplier relationships, implement sourcing strategies and processes to support key business objectives related to product cost, supply, and member needs.


This Sourcing Lead position will involve:-

  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with select global based and act as primary SRM owner for those suppliers.
  • Responsible for value creation & risk mitigation actions as required. Leverage data and advanced analytics to identify supplier opportunities and risks
  • Responsible for the execution of negotiation strategies for the sourcing of Pharmaceutical products for select suppliers
  • Accountable for the resolution of supplier operational issues and communicate impact to member organisations
  • Responsible to support with Strategic Initiatives team on key product strategies


In order to apply you must:-

  • Experience with conducting financial or spend analysis.
  • Experience with category, supplier and/or contract management.
  • Experience with developing and executing business cases is preferred.
  • Experience with suppliers and categories in generic pharmaceuticals and/or consumer healthcare products is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience across Direct Food and Beverage or FMCG experience is also preferred.
  • Be Degree / BSc qualified.
