Our client, a leading independent healthcare communications agency is looking for a

Senior Events Account Manager

to join their growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to deliver meaningful, high-quality events for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, from congresses and symposia to advisory boards and investigator meetings – all while being part of an agency with a friendly, social culture and a genuine commitment to development.

The Role
You’ll be the key point of contact for clients and will take the lead on planning and delivering events of all sizes across the UK and internationally. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from concept through to post-event reporting
Building budgets, sourcing venues, negotiating with suppliers and managing all logistics (speakers, travel, AV – the lot)
Ensuring smooth on-site delivery – and being prepared to roll up your sleeves when needed
Leading on post-event audits and compliance documentation
Making sure every event meets ABPI, EFPIA and other relevant guidelines – you’ll be a role model for compliant behaviour
Building strong, long-term client relationships and collaborating closely with internal account teams

About You
You will have at least 2

years’ experience

organising and managing pharmaceutical or healthcare events
Are highly organised and detail-focused, but can keep an eye on the bigger picture
Communicate confidently with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike
Have experience with event registration platforms such as Cvent
Understand pharmaceutical event compliance and auditing
Are happy to travel in the UK and abroad to ensure your events run flawlessly
