Hours: Days, Monday - Friday initially (will eventually be moving onto shift (phone number removed)
Additional: 25 days holiday (pro rata) + BH, company pension, share scheme initiative

Job Overview

Russell Taylor is working exclusively with a Biotech firm who are expanding their facility and introducing new Clean Room lines. We need an experienced head for this role.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production lines.
There are grade C,D areas.

Duties

• Managing a production team (x7 staff currently) and daily activities
• Working within a Grade C,D Clean Room adhering to cGMP standards
• Environmental monitoring
• Ensuring staff are working safely, wearing personal protective equipment as directed and cleaning/maintaining their PPE.
• Ensuring the batch manufacturing records are updated
• Monitoring and controlling production processes to ensure optimal efficiency
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise during production
• Creating and updating SOPs
• Oversee the setup and operation of machinery and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards

The Person
• Will have significant experience managing/ leading teams- working in an cGMP facility with clean room experience
• Experience in SOP write up and conforming to GMP QMS
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills needed for training and for liaising with stakeholders
