Our client, a leading planning consultancy in Nottingham, is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their talented team. They specialise in providing innovative and sustainable planning solutions across a wide range of sectors.

About the Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you will:

  • Lead and manage planning applications, appeals, and strategic projects for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver successful planning outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, legislative changes, and emerging best practices.



About You:

  • Proven experience as a Town Planner, ideally with a background in consultancy.
  • Chartered membership of the RTPI or working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
