Role Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth in the Asia Pacific region by developing and maintaining customer relationships and promoting our ethos that "the customer comes first." This is a dynamic, remote-based position, giving you the flexibility to work independently while being part of a supportive, international team.

Developing and managing a sales funnel for surfactants in the Asia Pacific area.

Focusing on direct customer sales and closing deals to drive revenue.

Managing distributors to expand market reach.

Maintaining and updating the CRM to build and manage a global customer pool.

Executing the sales strategy to bring biosurfactants to market.

Collaborating with manufacturing to ensure product availability for customers.

Providing feedback on market trends to the CCO for commercially driven product development.

Coordinating with international teams to align with company objectives and drive overall business growth.

Role Requirements

A successful Senior Sales Manager will have:

Direct experience in consultative and technical sales of chemical raw materials (e.g., additives, modifiers, polymers, pharmaceutical intermediates, etc.) to manufacturers, brands, or distributors in the chemical industry.

A proven passion for hands-on selling, with the drive and determination to close challenging deals.

A demonstrated ability to work independently, with the motivation to succeed in a remote setting.

Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to build and maintain customer relationships.

A proactive approach, driven by uncapped commission. 

Desirable Experience:

Built sales pipeline from scratch to £1M+ revenue in <2 years. 

Experience in creating marketing materials.

Established contacts within the Asia Pacific chemical industry.

Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

A technical background, such as a relevant scientific degree or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with surfactants
