The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll act as a trusted advisor on client projects, delivering strategic commercial advice and managing contract and commercial matters. Working as part of the project team on-site and in the office, you will collaborate closely with delivery teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met. This role requires regular site visits to actively engage in project delivery, problem-solving, and fostering strong relationships.

You’ll play a key role in identifying creative solutions, driving process improvements, and working hands-on with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. This is not just an office-based role but an opportunity to be at the heart of project delivery.

About You

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Engineering (HNC/HND considered).
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel.
  • Client-focused, commercially astute, and skilled in fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Professional membership (or working towards) with RICS, CIPS, or ICE preferred.
  • Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts and contract strategies, or similar forms.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver success.
