About Us

Established in 1998, Solomons Europe is an RICS Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice with a strong track record in NEC project delivery across the nuclear, renewables, water, process, and infrastructure sectors. Since our inception, we have been advocates of NEC principles and are currently actively upskilling our teams through NEC4-accredited training, expert-led CPD sessions, and in-house APC counselling to tackle the next generation of infrastructure contracts in the UK—and reinforcing our ambition to become the leading NEC consultancy practice in the UK.

With growing client demand across all our regions, we are expanding our team to support a range of projects, including offshore wind farms, water asset management programmes, infrastructure, major civil engineering works, and subsea cabling.

As we grow, we remain committed to building high-performing teams—not just expanding for the sake of it. We offer structured career development pathways that focus on technical excellence, NEC4 expertise, as well as management and leadership skills, ensuring our teams provide exceptional service and strategic support to our clients.

If you’re looking to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values both professional growth and high performance, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Project Surveyor at Solomons Europe, you’ll be a trusted advisor on client projects, delivering strategic commercial advice while managing contract and commercial matters. Working both on-site and in the office, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.

You’ll take a proactive, problem-solving approach to contract and commercial management, fostering strong relationships with delivery teams and project stakeholders in the true NEC spirit of mutual trust and cooperation.

Beyond managing day-to-day project challenges, you’ll play a key role in identifying creative solutions, driving process improvements, and ensuring commercial and contractual risks are well-managed. This is not just an office-based role—it’s an opportunity to be fully embedded in project delivery, making a tangible impact on major infrastructure and engineering schemes through effective project commercial control and contract management.

About You

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver success.
