Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Oncology
Holborn, 3 days a week in the office

Gilead has operations in more than 35 countries world-wide, with headquarters in Foster City, California, USA.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced marketer to join the UK & Ireland Oncology Business Unit, based in Holborn, London – reporting into the Director of Marketing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for brand leadership of an antibody drug conjugate in metastatic triple negative breast cancer, including the commercial launch of future Breast Cancer indications. The candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in robust marketing planning, excellent delivery of omnichannel marketing campaigns, and strong cross-functional working.
Specific Job Requirements:
Brand leadership, working with the cross-functional team, to plan, deliver and track performance of activities in line with strategy
Develop and implement omnichannel marketing campaign within agreed timelines and budget
Develop effective working relationships with expert oncologists and other key stakeholders to seek insights and develop advocacy within the UK & Ireland market
Liaise with Global teams to ensure alignment of UK campaigns to Global plans
Demonstrate excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities, including close working with agencies
Leverage primary and secondary market research and analytics critical to directing brand strategies and optimising marketing tactics
Is able to problem solve and prioritise in circumstances of continued complex and conflicting requirements
Ensures that all marketing activities are compliant with Gilead SOP and ABPI/IPHA Codes of Practice.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Educated to degree level or equivalent within Life Sciences, Marketing or equivalent
Demonstrated experience of developing and executing brand strategies and marketing mix– preferably in secondary care markets
Experienced in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities – as well as expense budget planning and tracking
Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is required
Experienced in successfully developing external relationships leading to brand advocacy
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead, interact, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from diversity of colleagues
Organisational skill, including ability to follow assignments through to completion
Excellent communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing are required.
Knowledge and experience of working in the UK and Ireland pharmaceutical markets is required
Experience in oncology is desirable
