Job Description
As the Senior Medical Manager, you will support the Pan-Tumour portfolio & development and execution of the Pan-Tumour and external collaboration strategy. You will be the subject matter expert medical advisor and lead the development and implementation of the pan-tumour oncology medical plan in the UK. You’ll provide medical insight and lead the therapy area medical plan through pre-launch, launch and post-launch excellence. You will identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, providers and academic centres whilst being a champion of cross functional partnership with local, regional and global colleagues.
What you will do:
Offer unbiased and scientifically accurate information to healthcare professionals about our diverse product portfolio and ongoing clinical development. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that HCPs have access to the information they need to make informed decisions.

Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and the healthcare community. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care in relevant therapeutic areas.

Contribute to the creation and execution of Country Medical Affairs Plans (CMAPs) that align with our strategic goals. Participate in cross-functional projects, including medical education initiatives and symposiums.

Work closely with market access, regulatory, and development teams to streamline patient access to our innovative therapies through health technology assessments and patient access programs.

Become a subject matter expert in your designated disease areas and products, providing valuable insights to internal teams and acting as a key resource for scientific inquiries.

Represent our Medical Department at industry events such as Medical Congresses and Symposia, leveraging these opportunities to enhance your clinical knowledge and gather competitive insights.

Collaborate with research teams to facilitate data generation activities, identifying key research opportunities that can lead to improved therapeutic approaches.

Support cross-department collaboration to ensure the delivery of balanced scientific information. Uphold the highest standards of compliance with all medical and legal regulations, ensuring that our practices meet established guidelines and ethical standards.

What you will need:
Medical degree or pharmacy degree.

Industry experience is ideal.

High level of knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice, final signatory status is preferred.

Oncology experience is preferred.

Proven relationship building skills with scientific leaders (either in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare/academic setting).

Understanding of the wider NHS environment and key opportunities for pharma and the NHS to partner effectively within the scope of the ABPI Code of Practice.

Ability to meet the requirement for attending the Central London office in person 2-days per week, with additional travel requirements for domestic and international meetings.
