Are you looking for a lab-based role where you will have the opportunity to work on multiple pre-clinical studies with different clients?

Do you have experience working in Aquatic Ecotoxicology?

Here at Labcorp, we are looking for aSeniorLaboratory Scientistto join our Ecotoxicology team at our site inShardlow, Derbyshire.

In this role you will be supporting the Ecotoxicology department in completing environmental studies on behalf of our clients. The role is varied, hands-on and provides the opportunity to make a real difference working for a world-leader in Environmental research.

Duties Include:

Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation with routine and non-routine methods

Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

Providing input and participating in study meetings.

Training and directing less experienced staff, assisting with developing training plans where required

Ability to write, review and revise standard SOPs related to primary area of work

Collating data and accurate data recording

Participate in QC review of selected routine data

Maintaining / upkeep of laboratory and work area

Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience in a CRO environment working to GLP

Experience working within Aquatic Ecotoxicology

Proficiency with Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Organized with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Home Office licence PIL A/B advantageous
