EUROAPI UK Ltd is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to providing top-notch IT solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Lead to join our team and drive our infrastructure projects to success.
The Senior Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of various technologies and the ability to lead a team to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the site's IT infrastructure.
Manage and optimize Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Oversee the administration and support of Windows Server environments.
Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMWare.
Administer and maintain NetApp storage systems.
Manage Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Ensure the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Develop and enforce infrastructure policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other members of IT to support business operations and projects.
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains current and efficient.
Supervise and manage a small team.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Significant experience in IT infrastructure management.
Extensive experience with technologies such as VMWare, NetApp, Commvault, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux Server, Cisco networking and firewall, and Aruba.
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and best practices.
Experience managing industrial manufacturing infrastructure is an advantage.
Previous work in a regulated industry is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, NCDA, Microsoft 365 Certified) are a plus.
