Your new role
As a Senior Epidemiologist with a strong understanding of Real World Evidence / Data you will play a key role in advancing research in thepany's neuroscience portfolio, with a particular focus on neuromuscular diseases such as Lou Gehrig's Diseases (ALS), Duchenne's and SMA amongst others.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and documenting non-interventional studies using real-world data sources like registries, medical records, and claims data. Assessing internal and external data sources for feasibility and quality. Collaborating with analytics teams to define and refine study analyses (experience with R is a plus). Working closely with cross-functional teams including clinical science, medical affairs, regulatory, and safety to develop study concepts and disseminate findings. Operating under the guidance of experienced RWD/RWE scientists, contributing to high-impact research.

This is initially a 6-month UK-based contract, ideally with 2 days per week in the office.All candidates must hold the right to work in the UK - no sponsorship is available for this role.

What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of an MSc in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, or a related field (PhD preferred) - or equivalent experience.Good experience designing and reporting on real-world data and/or RWE studies, gained in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, academia, or a CRO.A strong interest in - or experience with - neuromuscular diseases (ALS, DMD, SMA, etc)Ideally, experience with post-approval safety or effectiveness studies.Excellentmunication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
