Creating, producing, and distributing must-watch television for broadcasters, streamers, and FAST platforms worldwide,the Cineflix group includes Cineflix Productions, Cineflix Rights,and Cineflix Studios, as well as joint venture companies Buccaneer and C3 Media. We also share strategic partnerships through first-look deals and co-productions with a hub of producers from the US, UK, and Canada. With a catalogue of more than 7,500 hours of select scripted and factual content across a wide range of genres, Cineflix is behind some of TV’s most popular and long-running shows.
The Role:
Cineflix is currently looking to fill the role of Senior Digital Producer to add to our Cineflix Digital team. This is a full-time, permanent positionbased in our London , Montreal or Toronto office, depending on the selected candidate's place of residence.
The Cineflix Rights digital team is responsible for all direct-to-platform publishing and digital channel distribution. We operate 9 FAST channels and have a growing YouTube network of 15+ channels, including single-IP channels such as Mayday: Air Disasters and Homicide: Hours to Kill , as well as genre-based channels like Crime & Justice and Property & Reno.
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Senior Digital Producer to build on the network we’ve established from existing finished tape assets and to oversee an original digital-first production strategy that bolsters our content pipeline and grows our fan communities. As the first digital production hire within the business, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape a new initiative with full company backing—and to position Cineflix Rights at the forefront as we evolve with changing audience consumption habits for our IP.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the current Cineflix audience network and identify areas of growth opportunities through YouTube originals that can inform a digital-first production strategy.
Develop and deliver original digital-first concepts around Cineflix’s key IP and genre specialities that drive views and revenue.
Build and activate fan communities via premieres, live Q&As, and comment-response strategies.
Act as the end-to-end lead from ideation to delivery, including budgeting + resource planning. Present to Cineflix’s senior management team for investment/resource approval on a project-by-project basis.
Continuously analyse owned platform data as well as wider platform trends to iterate content strategy.
Act as the digital production expert through communicating and demystifying digital platform production best practices to the wider business.
Collaborate closely with existing Cineflix’s production teams and relevant third-party producer partners to utilise existing resource and/or research around existing IP to find efficiencies.
Where applicable, work with Acquisitions team to promote Cineflix digital original capabilities to potential new third-party producer partners.
Skills and Qualifications:
7+ years in digital-first production working for a rights owner or agency, with a particular focus on delivering original YouTube-first projects that complements established IP.
Demonstrable track record of generating views and revenue across a range of genres on YouTube.
Demonstrable experience of working with a range of objectives/KPIs for different projects, ie. revenue generation, IP extension, show support (promotional).
Experience working cross functionally across a number of departments, demonstrable experience in collaborating with, persuading, and evangelising to a range of internal stakeholders.
Experience in, or at least keen interest in, adopting gen AI into production workflows.
Experience utilising platform data to inform creative development decisions.
Experience in budgeting and resource planning.
Bring a solid network of production personnel to utilise on a project-by-project basis.

Comfortable in ambiguity – the role requires a willingness to define a new creative and strategic vision for Cineflix with little pre-existing protocol
Audience obsessed – a platform native who knows the value of data and harnesses this at the core of their decision-making
