Project Manager / Contracts Manager – Industrial Resin & Polished Concrete Flooring

📍 Location: Essex / London & M25 Region
💷 Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonuses + Benefits
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with occasional overtime and weekend work
📆 Start: Immediate

The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager or Contracts Manager with experience in industrial flooring to oversee multiple commercial and industrial projects across London and the South East. This is a great opportunity for an established Site Manager or Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career within the fast-paced specialist flooring sector.

You’ll manage the full lifecycle of projects including resin coatings, PU screeds, MMA systems, polished concrete, microcement, and preparation techniques across environments such as warehouses, data centres, car parks, pharmaceutical, food & drink production, and other high-spec industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities



Project Management: Oversee multiple flooring projects from mobilisation to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met

Team Coordination: Manage in-house and subcontract installation teams across sites

*

Health & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with HSE legislation and site-specific requirements

*

Quality Assurance: Ensure works meet specification, manufacturer guidelines and industry standards

*

Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers to maintain smooth project delivery

*

Reporting: Produce site reports, RAMS, programme updates and attend progress meetings

*

Resource Management: Coordinate materials, plant, logistics and labour to maintain programme efficiency

*

Snagging & Handover: Manage snagging, remedials and final handover documentation

Required Experience & Qualifications

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in site or project management within the resin flooring, industrial coatings or polished concrete sectors

*

Sound understanding of application processes for MMA, PU screeds, epoxy, microcement, or decorative/technical concrete

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)

*

Valid CSCS card (essential)

*

Trade background advantageous (Floor Layer, Resin Applicator or Site Supervisor)

*

Strong commercial awareness, able to read drawings/specs and manage budgets

*

IT literate – capable of working with programmes, digital snagging, Excel, etc.

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills
