Core Mission:

Lead the brand strategy, planning and execution for the launch of physician dispensed skincare brand Alastin in the UK&I in line with global brand strategy and local launch plans, includes the volume, revenue, marketing investment, product portfolio and brand communication plan delivering against brand sales targets and objectives.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop marketing strategy and plans and implement it effectively in market to achieve the business goals and objectives.
    • Develop the annual marketing calendar aligned with business
    • Ensure deep understanding of market, competitors, and stakeholders (HCPs and Patients) through regular customer visits, trade/consider publications, and desktop research etc.
    • Closely collaborate with Sales team to understand insights and needs of HCPs and translate into marketing strategy/plan.
    • Understand patients’ insights and needs for demand generation of Galderma
    • Plan and execute market research
    • Own KPIs and business cycle of marketing
  2. Drive strong engagement with HCPs through education programs to increase our presence and consumption.
    • Develop customer education plans, such as training and webinars, by closely working with the medical education team.
    • Ensure close engagement with HCPs
    • Explore the opportunity to leverage academic partnerships
    • Learn and reflect best practice from other regions
  3. Develop communication plan and promotional materials for both HCPs and Patients to deliver our brand message.
    • Develop and manage education/promotion materials for both HCPs and patients, and effectively implement in field.
    • Maximize the use of digital for efficient promotions
    • Collaborate with external agencies/suppliers to deliver marketing activities effectively, such as webinars, campaign materials etc.
    • Identify the key message to strengthen the brand/product
    • Plan and execute PR activities working closely with PR agency in collaboration with media, relevant influencers etc.
    • Own the execution and control of logo and brand elements
  4. Responsible for management and tracking of sales data and marketing performance.
  5. Lead to identify future growth opportunities including new product launch.

Profile Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Degree level education
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business
  3. Recognised Industry Post-Graduate Diplomas/MBA (Desirable)
  4. 5+ years’ experience in marketing roles
  5. Experience in premium cosmetics, OTC, or other beauty related business (desirable)
  6. A demonstrable record of success delivering key commercial KPIs
  7. Has led the marketing strategy development for both long/short term, with strong track record of business growth despite challenges.
  8. Experience and knowledge of up-to-date integrated marketing and communication in global company scope.
  9. Strong track record of marketing/communication execution implementation such as ads/promo material development, event planning, etc.
  10. Understands key business functions e.g., Commercial, Finance, Technical, Supply Chain
  11. Ability to develop strong KOL relationships and communication skills to work with HCPs
  12. Aesthetics customer / market knowledge (desired)
  13. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and work effectively with both internal and external partners, building strong trust.
  14. Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior stakeholders.
  15. Results-driven and a self-starter with a great ability to work independently as well as in teams.
  16. Business acumen and understanding of business context to create appropriate marketing communication.
  17. Strong strategic thinking skill and leadership to execute plans.
  18. Capable of working independently while balancing a desire to succeed as part of a high-performance team.
  19. Open-minded and innovative with a high level of energy.
  20. Ability to stay flexible and willing to challenge the status quo.
  21. Reliable and responsible project leader with strong problem-solving skills.
