THE ROLE We’re looking fora dynamic Director of Strategic Accounts to drive sales ofMedscape’s suite of products to senior brand managers and marketingteams in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a consultative salesrole, requiring a deep understanding of HCP engagement, digitaladvertising, and content marketing strategies in pharma. The idealcandidate will have a hunter mindset—building new relationships,growing existing accounts, and becoming a trusted partner for ourclients. Backed by industry-leading sales, marketing, and clientsupport teams, you’ll help top pharma brands develop impactfuldigital strategies that resonate with healthcare professionals. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES 1. Identify, pitch, and secure new business withpharma brand managers, digital marketing teams, and agencypartners. 2. Manage and expand key accounts, ensuring long-termstrategic partnerships. 3. Sell a unique portfolio of digitalengagement solutions, including branded content, targeted mediacampaigns, virtual events, and educational programs. 4. Consultwith clients to craft data-driven, compliant, and effectivemarketing strategies. 5. Represent Medscape at industry conferencesand client meetings across the UK, Europe, and the US. WHAT WE’RELOOKING FOR 1. 5+ years of proven success in selling digitalmarketing solutions to pharma (experience with medical device orbiotech also considered). 2. Strong network of pharma brandmanagers, digital marketing teams, and tier-one agencies. 3. Deepunderstanding of pharma marketing regulations, digital advertising,and HCP engagement strategies. 4. Ability to build trusted,consultative relationships at senior levels. 5. Track record ofexceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. 6. Excellentpresentation and communication skills. 7.
