Hiring Manager:Vice President EMEA


Key Responsibilities:

Support Business Development (60%)

  • Be the scientific expert in front of existing and prospective customers in the EMEA and support requests on efficacy and safety.
  • Regular touchpoint with our Key Accounts Scientific Teams in the region
  • Develop and manage a pool of regional Subject Matter Experts with the goal of building a strong scientific rationale for each specific health benefits Phynova targets.
  • Create a reputation with key opinion leaders, industry, and medical associations through engagement at conferences/industry events/tradeshows

Support Scientific Projects (40%)

  • Work together with Global Head of Science to develop new efficacy and safety trials for Phynova ingredients – Choice of end-benefit, Study protocol, Coordination of the studies
  • Project management of Clinical Studies
  • Support Regulatory team in maintaining and expanding regulatory clearances in the EMEA
  • Support our IP strategy
  • Scouting for EU grant opportunities


Key Performance Indicators

  • Attain and exceed budgeted sales revenue
  • Engagement with customers, SMEs and the scientific community 
  • Manage and deliver R&D projects on time and in budget


Experience

  • PhD plus 5 years relevant experience, or Master + 10 years relevant work experience in Biochemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related scientific fields
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills to a strong scientific target community
  • Experience in designing and executing clinical trials in the nutritional health space
  • Experience in grant funding applications
  • Results oriented, proactive self-starter, able to work effectively on own initiative and as a team player, effective with a high degree of agility.

Be ready to

  • Travel to customers in Europe, Middle-East and Africa (<5 days a month)
  • Work from home but have bi-monthly meetings in London or Europe
  • Ability to work independently, but as part of a cross-functional teams scattered across multiple time-zones (UK, EU, AUS, USA)
