Sales Solution Specialist – MedTech Global Recall & Field Services
Can be based anywhere in Europe
IQVIA MedTech’s Global Recall & Field Services teams work with industry partners & clients to execute field actions and in-field technical services, playing a pivotal role in patient safety. Our offering is a full, end-to-end managed solution that is regulator approved and provides our clients with value through enriched data, dashboarding & resources.
We seek an experienced, solution-oriented sales professional to develop & expand relationships within IQVIA MedTech’s cross-functional environment. This role will be responsible for sourcing new business & clients within our Global Recall & Field Services offering area ex-US, whilst leveraging existing relationships & agreements with our US partners & current GTM team structures ex-US.
The Role
Achieves growth, revenue & profitability targets through a consultative selling approach, providing bespoke solutions that solve our client’s business challenges.
Ongoing assessment of the key customer needs across the business line, and managing the development of the solution ex US
Direct appropriate research and input necessary to develop a successful strategy
Develop and lead implementation of the defined strategy with appropriate team members
Develop the commercial and GMT strategy to grow this business area profitably and competitively
Responsible for the revenue growth in Recall & Field Services solutions, specific focus ex US
Work with other business line managers and sales line managers on a global basis
Ensure pricing and positioning effectively support the Global recall & FS offerings in conjunction with the Offering Lead
Provide leadership on key client opportunities to ensure customer and business line(s) success
Report on status of revenues, customers and developments to direct and broader management
Conduct competitive surveillance and factor into strategy
The person
In terms of the preferred profile for a MedTech specialist, they should possess strong intellect and analytical acuity and with the ability to define, conceptualise and, ultimately, sell, the company’s solution portfolio. The individual will need to display strong ‘hunting’ skills, to engage and open out new relationships, as well as broadening the opportunity within the existing client base.
The individual will be required to work collaboratively across the organization; a sophisticated approach to relationship building, both internal and external, will also be essential.
Certainly, the company needs to appoint individuals who can hit the ground running and, consequently, an established network within the markets of relevance would be advantageous.
Skills
At least 8 years’ experience as a BD in a provider environment
Leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas
Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of Medical Device and In Vitro Diagnostic development
Have a detailed understanding of the European MedTech Marketplace.
Experience working in the recall arena and / or Field Services area is a plus.
