Sales Office Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Office Manager to oversee and manage the sales operations of our stretch film products. This role will focus on building strong relationships with customers, coordinating sales activities, and driving the efficiency of the internal sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in sales and office management, preferably within the packaging or stretch film industry.

Sales Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, pricing, orders, and resolving issues effectively.

Collaborate with the external sales team to create strategies for increasing sales and improving market penetration for stretch film products.

Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive additional revenue.

CRM implementation and ongoing management.

Office Management:

Supervise and mentor the internal sales team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.

Manage order processing, customer account setup, and day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions, contracts, and other records.

Optimize internal sales processes and workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a thorough understanding of stretch film products, including their features, applications, and benefits.

Educate the sales team and customers about the technical specifications of stretch films and recommend the best solutions for their needs.

Customer Focus:

Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement measures to enhance the customer experience.

Respond promptly to customer feedback and implement solutions to improve service delivery.

Collaboration and Communication:

Liaise with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Work closely with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional activities.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven experience in an internal sales role, with at least 3–5 years in a management or leadership position.

Strong knowledge of stretch film or packaging products (or similar industries).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical and Leadership Skills:

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to analyse sales data and develop actionable insights.

Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

Experience in managing B2B sales within the packaging sector.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes or supply chain logistics related to stretch film products

Skills:

Customer-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Results-driven and goal-oriented.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Salary:

£55,000 – £60,000
