Hobson Prior is seeking a Research or Senior Scientist for a contract role. This position involves working with advanced technologies to develop new antibody treatments. You will be part of a team that focuses on creating and improving antibody designs using various scientific methods.

Responsibilities:

  1. Help discover new therapeutic antibodies to support the development pipeline.
  2. Use advanced techniques to find and improve human antibodies for specific targets.
  3. Design and conduct experiments using custom libraries for antibody discovery.
  4. Prepare and analyze sequencing data to support antibody projects.
  5. Collaborate with other scientists to apply AI and structure-based methods for antibody development.
  6. Develop and implement new techniques in antibody engineering.
  7. Work across different projects to meet deadlines.
  8. Share findings in team meetings.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  1. Strong background in molecular biology and protein biochemistry, especially related to antibodies.
  2. Experience with display libraries for protein engineering is beneficial.
  3. Familiarity with techniques like flow-cytometry and data analysis tools is advantageous.
  4. Motivated with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
