Quality Control Analyst: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Analyst to join a leading company in the chemical industry.

Based in Milton Keynes and working as a key member of the Production Team, the Quality Control Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and titration techniques along with strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct QC analysis of in process and finished product samples of manufactured products in line with specifications / methods. Manage the day to day operations of the QC laboratory instrumentation required testing. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the department. Calibration and maintenance of instruments. Prepare lab reagents and standards in accordance with quality procedures. Train operators on analytical methods and record appropriately. Ensure all records, procedures and work instructions are appropriately maintained and filed. Investigate manufactured non-conforming product and quality related customer complaints in line with internal procedures.
What They’re Looking For:

MUST HAVE:
Degree-level knowledge in Chemistry or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on experience with HPLC operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. DESIRABLE:
Knowledge of Quality Management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 12776, and BRC. Experience in the chemical or chemical distribution industry. Experience working in a Food/Cosmetic FMC environment. Experience conducting internal audits.
