Objective of the role

  • The Regional Sales Engineer South is responsible for sales growth within the UK market covering the South of the UK
  • The objective is to drive profitable organic growth for the Verder product range in the region.


Responsibilities

  • Accelerate the overall profitable growth for the Group by establishing and achieving sales targets for both existing relationships and new business
  • Be commercially involved in developing and cultivating new and existing business.
  • Knowledgeable with key accounts, OEM’s, wholesalers, and system integrators.
  • Execute a commercial strategy to strengthen and expand the position of the portfolio to grow the market share for each segment with a focus on sustainable business growth.
  • Define, manage, and execute annual sales and account plans, including budgeting, investments, and their realization within the group strategy.
  • Provide prospect, project- and sales activity
  • Leverage relationships and gain regional access to new customers through the rest of the UK regional sales organization.
  • Analyse the business to continuously improve and help implement commercial and process improvement.
  • Work according to the open-, professional- and entrepreneurial culture
  • Work closely with our marketing and lead gen teams, work together to create campaigns and new market opportunities.
  • Any other duties and/or tasks that are required for the role. KPI’s for the role
  • New Customer- and Recurring Revenue for the Air products in the UK
  • Quote pipeline growth and conversion rate improvements
  • Profit (EBITDA) at divisional level


Job profile Job requirements

  • Experience in the technical industrial and UK pump market (preferably in the field of pumps or fluid handling technology)
  • Have connections within the key industries relevant to Pure pump market
  • Food & beverage
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Water and waste water
  • Battery production
  • Solar / PV
  • Semi-conductor
  • Nitrogen
  • Chemical Industry
  • Electroplating / Galvanic
  • Ceramics
  • Track record of sales growth in the direct- and indirect sales of engineered products into specific vertical markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field equivalent
  • Commercially strong with demonstrated success in developing new and existing key accounts.
  • Socially connecting and inspiring team player with the ability to bridge cultural differences and help implement change by collaboration between all sales colleagues.
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • High level of integrity, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and self-reflection are key attributes to perform this role.

  • Ability to travel and stay away as required
  • Willingness to work from a regional home office in the UK
