As a Project Supervisor, you’ll be instrumental in driving high-level R&D and IT initiatives that support pharmaceutical production and product development at a state-of-the-art facility in the North East. This role offers the chance to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex technology deployments, and influence the strategic direction of innovative pharmaceutical solutions. Job Description:

Engineering & Strategic Execution



Contribute to operational and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with performance goals.

Lead the design process, instructing technical staff and CAD teams where needed.

*

Tackle complex engineering and operational challenges through structured problem-solving.

*

Oversee engineering and technical project management from concept to execution.

*

Assess technical capabilities and implement development opportunities for teams.

*

Communicate clearly and confidently in both technical and non-technical forums.

*

Develop and present technical documentation, reports, and data to senior stakeholders.

*

Drive and manage change effectively, supporting teams through transition phases.

*

Provide inspirational leadership, effective delegation, and staff development.

*

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence

IT Logistics & Project Delivery

*

Analyse and optimise business processes to align with digital and operational solutions.

*

Identify and recommend effective technology solutions to meet business needs.

*

Collaborate with functional leads to leverage and integrate existing platforms.

*

Lead the development and presentation of business cases for internal governance.

*

Create and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, risks, stakeholders, communications, and financials.

*

Define and lead cross-functional project teams, including vendors and external contributors.

*

Drive accountability and ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

*

Validate and approve functional solutions, ensuring alignment with user needs.

*

Coordinate compliance and validation activities related to system changes.

*

Serve as the main point of contact for project delivery.

*

Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and facilitate effective issue resolution.

*

Transition projects into operational support seamlessly.

Skills & Experience:

*

Background in R&D, clinical, pharmaceutical, biometrics, chemicals or quality-related functions

* Leadership experience of 5 years or more.

*

Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical product development, manufacturing, or analytical testing.

*

Strong leadership qualities, with a passion for talent development and team building.

*

Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.

*

Experience leading within matrixed, fast-paced environments.
