ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Procurement Lead to join a Pharmacy company in the Greater London area. As the Project Procurement Lead, you will manage procurement activities for significant investment projects and coordinate planning and execution, potentially at various locations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Project Procurement Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Develop Procurement Execution Strategy and coordinate procurement activities for assigned investment projects.

  2. Take end-to-end commercial ownership of procurement, expediting, contract management, and closeout of contracts for goods and services.

  3. Actively manage the Procurement Master Plan (PMP) during project execution to ensure timely project reporting and risk mitigation.

  4. Collaborate closely with stakeholders including procurement teams, project directors, engineers, support functions, and key third-party collaborators.

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

    To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Procurement Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  5. Relevant degree in a technical field such as process, chemical, mechanical, civil, or plant engineering.

  6. Extensive industry experience in procurement management, particularly within large CAPEX projects and the pharmaceutical sector.

  7. A working knowledge and practical experience with plant construction, procurement, sales, and contract management.
