The Role of the Team Leader - Recombinant Production

As Team Leader, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations in the recombinant production area, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of production targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and motivating a technical production team to achieve operational goals
Embedding structure, discipline, and best practices to transition from R&D to BAU manufacturing
Managing daily boards, shift planning, and resource allocation
Driving continuous improvement in processes, performance, and compliance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Technical Operations, QC, and QA
Monitoring KPIs, reporting variances, and supporting monthly planning processes
Acting as the single point of contact for recombinant production activities

The Ideal Candidate for the Team Leader Role

A strong technical background in recombinant protein/Enzyme production, ideally with 5+ recent years' experience
Proven, recent experience in scale-ups, tech transfers, and laboratory start-ups
Solid upstream processing expertise and familiarity with downstream techniques
Recent leadership experience in biotech or bioprocessing environments
