Production Operative - £12.62/hr

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a background in manufacturing? We're looking for dedicated Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturer of single-use laboratory consumables in Newport.

Working with products like petri dishes, pipettes, and medical swabs, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of every item. This isn't your average factory job you'll be at the end of the production line, performing key tasks like:

Inspecting and packing products to ensure they meet quality standards (checking for cracks, flaws, and correct counts).
Completing essential paperwork for each production batch.
Following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What We're Looking For:

You'll ideally have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food manufacturing, or cosmetics. However, we are also open to candidates who have experience working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment and who are ready to learn.

You must be able to pass assessments in literacy and numeracy. Due to the nature of our clean-room environment, you cannot wear false nails, jewellery, strong perfumes/aftershaves, or chew gum on shift.

The Details:

Pay: £12.62 per hour
Shift Pattern: A 7-day fortnight rota with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am). This provides a great work-life balance with extended breaks.
Location: Parkway, Newport NP11 3EF
