We are supporting them in their recruitment for multiple Permanent Production Operators to join their busy team. OsecoElfab are committed to quality, service, and protecting life. From their headquarters in the UK and USA, they manufacture rupture discs, explosion vents and associated burst detection systems to protect people, plants and the environment. Their services include highly specialized engineering and design consultation, product training seminars, site surveys and a stock consolidation program.

Serving a global customer base, OsecoElfab have two manufacturing facilities: one in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (USA) and one in North Shields (UK). These are supported by six regional sales offices and over sixty approved representatives worldwide.

Key sectors include chemical process, refining, energy, pharmaceutical and biotech, electrification and power, and OEM industries such as bulk handling, gas generation and handling, cryogenics, medical, aerospace, transportation, and hydrogen.

About The Role:

The role of Production Operator is at the heart of their manufacturing operations, providing a crucial link between product creation and their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

As a Production Operator, you will contribute to the manufacturing of rupture discs, explosion panels, holders, and related accessories, including new products that enrich our evolving OsecoElfab portfolio. This role not only offers hands-on involvement in the production process but also an avenue for growth and skill development. The initial six-month training period provides a solid foundation, with future opportunities to progress through a skills matrix linked to salary advancement.

Production Operative Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out high quality manufacturing tasks to the agreed and/or documented standards
Following standard operating procedures (SOP) and supporting teams to create new SOP's as appropriate
Escalating issues where appropriate and working with relevant cross functional teams to find solutions
Ensuring all quality standards are observed and maintained
Ensuring a cost effective and timely production to meet production targets and customer requirements
Keeping accurate records of materials used
Keeping accurate records of any defects and scrapped materials
Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material
Complying with health and safety requirements, policies and procedures
Any other reasonable duties/tasks as appropriate
Operating and cleaning assembly and production machinery and also hand-held tools
Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
Monitoring a production or assembly line and conducting basic testing and quality checks
Storing goods and raw materials in a factory or warehouse, which may involve operating lifting equipment and forklift trucks
Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products
Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines

Willingness to complete on the job / vocational training as well as formal qualifications as required

25 days holidays plus bank holidays

Working Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm. Starting salary is £23,940.00 increasing to £25,869.00 after passing 6-month probation.

With a salary increase from June 2025.
