Position Summary:
We’re seeking a

Product Manager, Cardiovascular Surgery

to lead the international marketing strategy for our Open Concomitant Therapies – AtriCure’s largest product portfolio.
In this highly cross-functional role, you'll design and launch new therapy programs in Europe, and develop go-to-market plans to increase awareness and adoption of surgical ablation therapies. This position is key to strengthening engagement with cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, and other clinical stakeholders across global markets.
Essential Functions Of The Position
Lead marketing strategy and tactical execution across international markets for the Open Concomitant franchise
Design and launch Open Concomitant Therapies in Europe, collaborating closely with the commercial team
Drive adoption with compelling digital campaigns, product launches, and educational content
Conduct in-depth market research to shape long-term strategy and uncover adoption drivers/barriers
Build marketing frameworks using analytics and research to support smarter decision-making
Develop tools and programs (e.g., referral development, patient access) to increase engagement and reach
Represent AtriCure at international tradeshows and events, ensuring consistent global brand messaging
Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Finance, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment
Monitor market dynamics and competitors, proactively adjusting strategy and messaging
Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, especially Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons and Cardiologists
What You Bring:
Required:
5+ years of sales or marketing experience in cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, or surgical therapies (medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare sector)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
Strong command of English (written and verbal)
Proven ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional initiatives
Strategic mindset, data-driven decision-maker, and a compelling communicator
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (35–50%)
Preferred:
MBA or advanced degree
Previous medical device experience in cardiology
Familiarity with international markets and distributors
