About the Role

We are seeking experienced Process Pipefitter Welders with a background in stainless steel fabrication and process installation within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will be time-served, with the ability to work independently and use their initiative with minimal supervision.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Fabrication, welding, and installation of pipework in the process industry
  • Primarily using TIG purge welding to deliver high-quality installations
  • Installing hygienic pipework, steam and condensate systems.
  • Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks
  • Independently survey, measure, and plan pipework routes accurately
  • Perform fabrication tasks in the workshop and on-site, ensuring excellent quality and efficiency
  • Assist in generating bills of materials, preparing RAMS, and purchase requisitions as needed

About you

  • Completion of a recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
  • Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and process installations.
  • Significant experience in welding and fabrication, including pipework and bracketry
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID’S
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
