Join a growing engineering team delivering bespoke solutions to industry leaders.

We’re looking for an experienced Pipefitter Welder to join a well-established and expanding engineering firm based in the Halifax area. You’ll play a hands-on role in the fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation of high-spec process pipework for clients across the food & beverage processing and pharmaceutical sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to take ownership of quality-driven work and contribute to a variety of tailored engineering projects — both in the workshop and on client sites.

Responsibilities:



Fabricate and assemble bespoke stainless steel and high-temperature pipework systems

*

Perform precision TIG welding to high hygienic and structural standards

*

Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and mechanical layouts

*

Work both in-house and on customer sites, following clear project plans

*

Support project engineers to ensure installations are delivered safely, accurately, and on time

*

Maintain excellent safety practices and adhere to hygiene, quality, and risk protocols

What We’re Looking For:

*

Minimum 5 years' experience in a pipefitting or fabrication role

*

Apprentice-trained or qualified in welding/fabrication or mechanical engineering

*

Skilled in stainless steel welding, with a keen eye for detail

*

Experience in working on temperature-sensitive or hygiene-critical pipework systems

* Working with 6G 2" Schedule Stainless Steel and 6G 2" Dairy Pipework

*

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach

*

Full UK driving licence essential for occasional site travel
