Locum Pharmacist (Band 6/7) – NHS Hospital in Birmingham
We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Locum Pharmacist to join our team at an NHS hospital in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Contract Details:
Position: Band 6/7 Locum Pharmacist
Duration: 3-6 month contract (with potential for extension)
Working Hours: 5 days a week (flexible to 3-4 days a week)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £23 - £30 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care across surgical and medical wards
Work in the dispensary to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise medication management
Ensure compliance with NHS standards and regulations
Support clinical pharmacy services
Requirements:
GPHC registration
Previous hospital experience preferred (Band 6/7)
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and organisational skills
