Malvern, Brighton, and Elsternwick . Flexibility to work across all three locations is essential.
Cabrini Health has a multiple vacancies for Personal Care Assistants (Hospital) with Health Service Assistance qualifications. The PCA role will work alongside our multi-disciplinary teams and assist our patients as required, as well as maintain a safe working environment for our staff and patients.
This role requires availability to work

afternoon and night shifts , providing flexible care and support when it’s needed most.
You will work under the guidance of registered nurses to provide high-quality care, assist patients with daily needs, and maintain a clean, comfortable patient environment.
Key responsibilities include :
Delivering care to patients under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse
Providing observation of patients and related reporting to the registered nurse
Responding to patient and family queries and referring to the registered nurse as required
Maintaining the patient environment, including bed-making
Maintaining patient privacy and dignity and responding to their emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs
About you
You are a compassionate and reliable PCA with a hospital background and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent qualification as outlined in the position description)
OR recent successful completion of the 1st year of a Diploma of Nursing, including acute/aged care placement
Previous experience in an acute hospital setting as a PCA or Ward Assistant
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
A strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality
Valid Working with Children Check (Victoria)
Australian working rights or visa
