Payroll Administrator

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our site team in Royston on a Fixed-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Employment Type:                   Fixed-term contract, 38 hours per week
                                                          Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm
Location:                                             Royston
Remuneration & Benefits:         Up to £30K pro Rata

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the site team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain and update accurate records, schedules, and documentation.
Order office supplies and manage general office upkeep.
Schedule meetings and coordinate site visits.
Prepare and submit payroll data, working to tight deadlines.
Liaise with offsite payroll support teams and assist with workforce data coordination.
Review gate times, daily allocation sheets, and absence forms (holiday/authorised leave).
Handle workforce queries through regular interaction with site supervisors.
Monitor and manage sickness and lateness reporting from site level.
Input and validate data from multiple sources into internal systems and spreadsheets.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in an administrative role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Previous experience in the construction industry or on-site admin roles is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the NAECI agreement is advantageous but not essential.
