Location: Bristol (with monthly travel to Derby and quarterly travel to Leeds)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full Time
Salary: £60,000- £75,000 plus car, up to 25% bonus and benefits

Are you an immediately available senior HR professional ready to make a strategic impact across a multi-site UK operation? We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business that delivers high-tech solutions to the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

This is a pivotal role, combining strategic HR leadership with hands-on generalist responsibilities across three UK sites. You will partner closely with senior leadership teams to shape people strategy, lead change management initiatives, and support global HR programmes while ensuring operational HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers on all aspects of HR strategy, policy, and best practice

  • Lead and deliver organisational development and change initiatives

  • Oversee all HR activity across three UK sites, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and pensions

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning in line with business objectives

  • Drive performance, engagement, and learning & development strategies

  • Support employee wellbeing through structured programmes and Occupational Health liaison

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal governance processes

    About You:

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent professional experience

  • Strong HR generalist background with experience in a multinational environment

  • Manufacturing experience is beneficial

  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, including acquisitions and change management

  • Proven ability to manage payroll and benefits administration

  • Data-driven mindset with strong project management and communication skills

  • Confident in HR systems and technology

  • Able to influence at all levels and travel regularly across UK sites
