The Role:

As the Senior Operational Lead – Sterile and Aseptic Manufacturing, you'll be the driving force behind the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacture of veterinary products. You'll lead high-performing teams, champion regulatory excellence, and steer operational transformations to deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do:

  • Inspire and lead large cross-functional teams in a high-compliance, fast-paced setting.

  • Champion regulatory excellence, ensuring strict adherence to GMP, MHRA, FDA, and EU standards.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and operational innovation.

  • Lead complex site turnarounds, optimise processes, and exceed production KPIs.

  • Build bridges across departments — Quality, Engineering, Validation — to ensure seamless operations.

  • Navigate and lead external audits with confidence and success.

  • Mentor future leaders, developing talent pipelines and upskilling your team.

  • Own compliance, quality, and performance targets from the floor to the boardroom.

    Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, with 5+ years in sterile operations.

  • Strategic leadership experience with board-level exposure.

  • Proven expertise in aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong grasp of Lean/CI tools and manufacturing technologies.

  • EHS and Quality Management System experience.

  • A motivator, a mentor, a problem-solver, and above all — a team player.
