Locum Oncology Pharmacist needed for an ongoing contract in Salisbury **

Pay: £35.00 per hour

Contract Type: Full-Time 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Trident Healthacre are seeking a dedicated and knowledge of the Aria prescribing system experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our clients team in Salisbury. This full-time position involves working across both wards and the dispensary, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that clinical screening keeps up with best clinical practice

* Ensure that there is adequate cover of clinical screening

* Manage and develop both the Senior Cancer Clinical Pharmacist and the Oncology Specialist Pharmacist

* To conduct and manage audit projects concerned with the provision of clinical pharmacy to the cancer services

* Managing and supervising the dispensary team.

* Collaborating with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient care.

* Participating in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements:

* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

* Previous experience in a clinical oncology setting setting, preferably within a hospital.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

* Knowledge of the Aria prescribing system
