My client, a leading global advisory firm, is looking for a Senior Associate Director or Director to join their rapidly growing health team in Central London .

The successful candidate will work with high-profile organisations spanning emerging bio-tech to established pharmaceutical companies and public health organisations.

2025 will be an exciting year in healthcare. This opportunity is not to be missed!

The role:
This role offers the chance to be a key figurehead for my client's healthcare offerings – driving new business, providing high-value strategic advice, and leading a world-class team.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on expanding the domestic health sector pipeline.

Lead healthcare, strategic communications, and issue-based campaigns for clients.

Manage and strengthen client relationships, oversee projects, direct teams, allocate resources, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Deliver exceptional client service through proactive account management, acting as the primary contact, and supporting client partnerships.

Develop and execute integrated campaigns to communicate client messages to policymakers, media, trade associations, consumers, and stakeholders.

Drive strategic planning and message development for new business and ongoing projects.

Stay informed on developments within client issue areas and identify opportunities for engagement.

The ideal candidate:

9+ years of UK healthcare, public affairs, and strategic communications agency experience. Candidates with in-house experience are also considered.

Strong expertise in UK health policy issues.

Deep understanding of public and government affairs.

Self-directed, proactive, motivated to serve clients, with a desire to win new business.

Experience leading teams and managing work streams, serving as senior counsel on major projects.

Willingness to learn and grow across sectors and communication mediums.

Proven success in strategic stakeholder engagement and new business initiatives.

Strong connections and enthusiasm in the UK health space, with understanding of the NICE process and UK reimbursement landscape.

In-depth understanding of the ABPI code and advising clients on compliance.

Interest in UK politics, with knowledge of Westminster & Whitehall.
