Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. 
The position will initially be offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of 2 months.
What will you be doing?

You'll be Carrying out mechanical maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on plant equipment.
You'll Support isolation and decommissioning of mechanical systems in line with site safety procedures and GMP requirements.
Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake corrective actions to ensure reliable plant restart post-shutdown.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to coordinate shutdown work and meet project deadlines.
you'll accurately complete maintenance records, job sheets, and handover documentation to support traceability and compliance.What’s essential?

A recognised Mechanical Engineering Qualification – e.g, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance or engineering.
Experience in a Regulated Industry – ideally pharmaceutical, biotech, or other GMP environments, with an understanding of cleanroom protocols and documentation practices.
You will have strong fault-finding and Problem-Solving Skills – ability to diagnose and resolve issues with pumps, valves, pipework, and rotating equipment efficiently.
Proficient in Interpreting Engineering Drawings and P&IDs – confident in following technical documentation to support shutdown tasks.
You'll have commitment to Health & Safety and Compliance – proven ability to work safely in a high-risk environment, following permit systems, LOTO procedures, and adhering to GMP standards.
