A thriving £60M+ turnover specialist Mechanical and Electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team on a major data centre upgrade project. This role offers long-term work on high-value schemes, genuine work-life flexibility, and a comprehensive benefits package in a company known for its strong team culture and modern approach to mechanical (Pipework) project delivery.

Project Manager – Data Centre Upgrade Projects
📍 Based near Watford
💰 £75,000 – £100,000 + £5K Travel Allowance + Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent OR We can look at a long term contract

The Project:

To support a £6M data centre upgrade near Watford, consisting of 1.5km of pipework (mechanical works).
Projects are upgrades/refurbishments, not new installations — ideal for candidates with direct data centre or large scale experience such as, pharmaceutical however we will openly consider all applicants.
Once this wraps up (12–16 months), you'll likely transition to a long-term data centre project in Slough and beyond (pipeline secured).
Start date: Ideally within the next month to allow time to embed before the site phase begins. Package Includes:

£75K – £100K base salary (depending on experience)
£5,000 travel allowance
Projects bonus (More can be explained upon application)
6% employer pension contribution (Plus 5% employee)

Nursery or first school day leave – take the day off without touching your annual leave
Charity day – fundraise for a cause close to you with an additional paid day off
Regular social events – including a black-tie event coming soon
Supportive, sociable culture across a team of 180+ staff  Ideal Project Manager Candidate:

Must live within 1 hour 20 minutes of Watford (to assist in emergencies).
Experience on similar large scale Mechanical Project Management jobs (Pipework).
Strong mechanical background – someone who’s been on the tools and transitioned into management would be a great fit.
