Falcon Green are working with a European General Contractor that are focused on delivering complex, large scale life sciences and mission critical projects. Due to planned and continued growth, they now require a competent Mechanical Construction Manager on a new scheme in Dublin.

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to lead mechanicalsystems installation on a high-profile mission critical project. You will oversee on site delivery, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with design and safety standards, and drive project milestones to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all mechanical work packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery to quality, cost, and schedule.

  • Coordinate closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure mechanical systems align with project specifications and integration requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific procedures.

  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.

  • Track procurement, logistics, and installation of mechanical equipment (e.g. chillers, AHUs, pipework, ducting, etc.).

  • Monitor progress against the programme and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays.

  • Participate in regular progress meetings, providing updates on package status.

  • Support commissioning planning and execution for mechanical systems.

  • Maintain strong communication with the main contractor, client, and consultants.

    Requirements

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

  • Proven experience managing mechanical packages on large-scale construction projects (ideally data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial).

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, and ventilation.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-spec environments with tight deadlines.

  • Ability to manage subcontractors and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Familiar with QA/QC processes, method statements, and risk assessments.

  • Strong understanding of health & safety standards.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Right to work in the region (e.g. EU or UK as applicable) and willingness to travel if required.
