With a strong project pipeline extending into 2027 and beyond, we are seeking a high-impact Engineering Project Manager to oversee the design and delivery of advanced systems for regulated industries.

Engineering Project Manager Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will take full ownership of capital projects from contract award through to commissioning. You will act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, managing budgets, subcontractors, and multi-disciplinary teams across multiple high-value projects ranging from five hundred thousand to forty million pounds.

Key Responsibilities of Engineering Project Manager

Lead full project lifecycles including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning
Manage global projects across regulated sectors such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and nuclear
Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification
Oversee subcontractor activities and procurement processes
Drive financial performance and reporting
Coordinate cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplinesCandidate Profile

Degree or HNC or HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or similar)
Proven experience managing capital projects in regulated industries
Strong commercial and budget management skills
Confident in client-facing roles and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient with project tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera and able to read CAD drawings
Solid understanding of engineering principles including:
Structural steel fabrication, welding, inspection, and testing
Machinery safety standards and directives
ATEX zone and equipment selection
Combustion and gas systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Piped water, hydrogen, and gas systems
Fans and electrical panel build
