Mechanical Design Engineer - (Future Technical Lead)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-5 years' experience in aerospace or with hydraulics/hydro-mechanical products-ready to take the next step in your career?

Our client is a global leader in advanced aerospace systems, trusted by industry giants like Airbus, Boeing, and Leonardo. From concept to aftermarket support, they engineer smarter, safer and more reliable components that define the future of flight.
Key Tasks:
Work on the full product lifecycle-from New Product Introduction (NPI) to in-service support across high-impact aerospace programs
Design hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems used in leading aerospace platforms
Translate complex customer specifications into innovative, manufacturable solutions
Collaborate across teams to develop test equipment and ensure design excellence
Drive verification & validation (V&V) and present solutions to clients and stakeholders
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to shaping the engineering culture and best practices
Your Profile
BEng/BSc in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in aerospace, or with gears, hydraulics, or electro-mechanical components
Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar), with solid understanding of:
Design for manufacture & mechanical design principles
Reliability, safety, GD&T, DFMEA, and aerospace quality standards
Strong communication and presentation skills
Eager to develop into a leadership/mentorship role
